The Google Search Algorithm isn't perfect, but if the sheer number of changes is any indication, the Google Search Engine is as close to "perfect" as it can be... for now.   Like it or not, most people use Google as their search engine of choice.  I think part of the reason is they are always trying to make your Search Engine Results Page (SERP) more relevant.  They do this by continually refining and updating their algorithm.
